[Once again, writing a blog after a very long time! 7 months plus! Wow- time flies]
Today (October 22, 2009), i visited a doctor in the U.S for the first time in 6 years of my stay here. During the past 6 years, whenever i fell sick i've always found comfort in the fact that i can always go to India and see my father-doctor if ever things became serious. But by God's grace there hasn't been any such occasion. So it was indeed ironic that i had to make my 1st doctor's visit when my father-doctor was right here in the U.S., he, mom and my wife were visiting his cousin in California while I was home-alone in Maryland. Such are the beautiful vagaries of life!
By the way, the visit was to an ophthalmologist to remove a thought-to-be foreign body which woke me up at 4 AM but turned out to be just a scratch from eye-dryness which is healing on its own.
