Credit Card Perils

It was extremely disturbing and unsettling to find an "Important Security Alert" message when i logged onto my online credit card account the other day. A panicky call to the customer care representative revealed that there has been a security breach in some of their database transactions and as a precaution they were replacing the credit cards of those vulnerable accounts. This obviously put me in a fix for i have to inform my regular "monthly- account-drainers" (Internet charges, DVD charges, water charges etc) of the new number. I wondered aloud when credit cards were discovered and whether we will ever be safe from such online predators. I also wondered if it would be nice to have a "cash-only" world!

The only good that came out of the fiasco was the exercise which my idle brain-cells received when i "deleted" my old number and "added" a new one into them.

Drop-down options വളരെ helpful ആണ്. ഇതു എന്‍റെ ആദ്യത്തെ ബ്ലോഗ്. മലയാളത്തില്‍ എഴുതാന്‍ ശ്രമിചെന്ങിലും "മന്ഗ്ലിഷ്" ആയി തീരുന്നത് കൊണ്ടു ഇനി English-ഇല്‍ തന്നേയ് എഴുതാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു!
