The Mind

I did not particularly like my last blog "A Snowy Day" probably because it was a forced attempt. The words just wouldn't come and i had to manufacture them. It felt awkward. I am now thinking why i wrote it in the first place - probably because of friendly taunting by the better half or perhaps my own guilty conscience of not having written a blog for so many days. But i realize that one's best work comes out when one is in the right frame of mind. With the mind in the right frame, there is no dearth of words or ideas, creativity shines at its best. The mind is one of the most powerful tools at our disposal - train it to be under your control with positive thoughts and the potentials are unlimited.

A Snowy Day

It snowed heavy the other day, i think for about 12 hours.
My wife rushed infront of the TV in the morning but was disappointed to note that only her school was not closed. The balcony turned into a thick white blanket. The weather channels caught prime attention. Children in the neighborhood enjoyed sledding. Snow-remover vehicles were busy. Ghost-trees looked attractive in their white coats. Heaters were turned up. My car got dirty. People spoke only and only about the weather.
It's fascinating that the snow catches your attention.
